We’re leaving the Orrery (for now) to head back to Jea’s village. As the monolithic ruins of Oba’s workshop/evil genius lair recedes into the background, I am reminded of these early explorations I did for Jea’s ‘secret’ entrance:
The idea was that Oba had moved into what amounted to a gigantic grandfather clock that had been buried in the mountain, a giant machine of inexplicable purpose that she has devoted her life to deciphering. Jea navigates through the cracks in this facade (literally and figuratively!), entering the Orrery through a point where the clockwork ruins have burst at their seams.
